Bonus Blackjack

Bonus Blackjack is very similar to the original Blackjack game with the exception that you can opt to place a Bonus Side Bet. The game is played with 2 decks of 52 cards that are re-shuffled before the start of each round. And in Bonus Blackjack, you can only play one hand at a time. The object of the game is to get your hand as close to 21 without exceeding 21, but still beating the Dealer’s hand. The best hand in Bonus Blackjack (and any other variation) is, of course Blackjack, which is a hand that has an Ace and either a 10 or any of the face cards. This hand will automatically stand and can’t be beaten, only matched, which would result in a “push”. If you chose to participate in the bonus bet, that payout is determined by the first two cards you are dealt. The table below illustrates the winning bonus bet combinations:

Craps
Bonus Hand Combo Craps Pay Out Craps
Jack + Ace of Spades Craps 50 to 1 Craps
Jack + Ace of Any Other Suit Craps 25 to 1 Craps
Two Cards of the Same Suit Craps 5 to 2 Craps

Bonus Blackjack’s rules are as follows:

1. The game is played with 2 standard decks of cards that are re-shuffled before each round

2. This is an American “hole” card game which means that the dealer must check to see if he/she has Blackjack when dealt an Ace or 10. The game is over if the dealer has Blackjack

3. Blackjack will always beat any other form of 21.

4. Jacks, Kings, and Queens all have a value of 10

5. Aces are valued at either 1 or 11 (depending on the situation)

6. The player is allowed to draw up to 9 additional cards (for a total of 11) as long as the value of that hand doesn’t exceed 21. After reaching 11 cards total and not exceeding 21, your hand automatically stands and it is the Dealer’s turn.

7. The dealer must hit on a soft 17
