Blackjack

Blackjack is a great casino card game! The coin sizes provided for this game range from one dollar to five hundred dollars with a max bet of $500. The object of the game is simply to be the player who comes the closest to 21 without going over that mark and while having a higher number than the dealer. Before any cards are dealt, the player makes and then the dealer deals the cards. The payout table below shows how wins are dealt with.

Hand Pays
Simple Win Even Money
Blackjack 3 to 2
Insurance 2 to 1

In the RTG version of Blackjack, the dealer must hit on a soft 17, you are allowed to double any 2 cards, and if you split aces, you are dealt only one extra card per ace. There are some common terms associated with Blackjack that you should be aware of, these terms are as follows:

Blackjack – When the first two cards total 21. Blackjack beats every other hand

Bust – When the value of either the player or the dealers hand exceeds 21

Push – When the value of the Dealer’s hand and the Player’s hand are equal resulting in a tie and returned wagers

Hit – Request for another card to be dealt to player

Stand – Player wishes to keep original hand

Split – Player wants their hand to be split two cards into separate hands.

Double – Player doubles bet, agreeing to one additional card only

Card Values
Cards 2 through 10 are the face value.
Jacks, Queens and Kings are all valued at 10.
Aces can count as either 1 or 11
If the player has a hand that consists of a 6 and an Ace, he may either consider it at 17 or drop its value to 7. The Ace may count as 1 or 11. You may change the value of the Ace as the hand progresses.
